In one hundred and fifty kilometres north-west from Kiev, at the fabulously beautiful shores of the river Uzh (Уж) located an ancient Slavic city - Korosten.

Today, celebrating its 1300-year anniversary, the city can be proud not only of its long and historic railway hubs, but also its modern railway hub - the largest on the Right Bank Ukraine. As well as its industry, where OJSC “Korosten  chemical engineering  plant” has a leading position.

OJSC “Korosten  chemical engineering  plant”  was founded in 1949, as a specialized enterprise producing peat - extracting machines for the local industry of USSR – “Torfmash”.

The first products of the plant were peat harvesters, peat - lay machines, switch railway boxs, fuellers, wagon grain loaders, conveyor dryers, etc.

In 1959, as a result of rapid development of chemistry plant redirected to a produce of chemical equipment and reorganized in “Korostenhimmash”. During this period,  plant started production of heat exchangers, refrigerators, dryers, capacitive and painting equipment. Been done great amount of work to re-equip the plant by new high-performance welding and welding-assembling machines.

In 1965 second stage of the plant reorganization was completed, which significantly expanded the production capacity of the enterprise. And in 1967 for their achievements in the work plant was renamed in "Korostensky plant of 50 Years of the Great October Socialist Revolution."

In 1975 with the commissioning of the third stage of the plant and Dewar vessels department company obtain a complete, modern look.

Plant products were manufactured with a " high-quality mark " and exported to 35 countries. Many times presented at the exhibitions of USSR achievements and has repeatedly marked with medals.

Carrying out the decision of Ukraine Government and according to the requirements of time in 1995 factory was transformed into Open Jint-Stock company - OJSC “Korosten  chemical engineering  plant”.

Today, with a strong industrial base, highly skilled engineers and workers plant design and manufacture the most modern competitive equipment for chemical, gas and oil-refining, food and other industries also for agriculture.

The high quality and reliability of our products proved by the fact that products are certified for compliance of Russian State standards.

Has permissions of Ukrainian State labor protection committee, and the Belarusian Nuclear control committee gives right to design, manufacture and supply equipment operating under the pressure.

Companys product range includes:

1. Shell and tubes heat exchanging equipment:

heat exchangers, capacitors, coolers and evaporators for petroleum refining, petrochemical, chemical and other industries.

Heat exchangers of the following types:

fixed tube sheets;

floating heads;

U-shaped pipes;

with wavy temperature compensators;

pipe in pipe.

Suggested supplies of heat exchanging equipment includes full range of  horizontal and vertical apparatus with a diameter from 159 to 2000 mm and length from 1000 to 12000 mm. With various versions of materials - from carbon to nickel-chrome-molybdenum steels and titanium.

Plant also repair  defective heat exchangers, produces tube bundles - as elements of heat exchangers with a floating head or a U-shaped pipes.

2. Air cooling machines.

Plant was the first in manufacturing high-performance air coolers for petroleum refining, petrochemical, natural gas transportation and other industries at the territory of Ukraine. Our air cooling machines corresponds to the best foreign specimens.

Air cooling machines issued by the following types:

horizontal

zigzag-shaped

of weak-flow

The use of bimetallic tubes with aluminum fins (fins coefficients - 9, 14, 20) provides the possibility of surface heat exchange from 100 to 12600 m2.

The material execution up to the working environment can be: carbon, heat-resistant or stainless steel, brass and titanium.

Air cooling machines are equipped with:

fans of 2 types "tornado" or "super typhoon", diffusion apparatus, regulation blinds.

Before sending to the consumer, in a special equipped area of the plant, we made control assembly and testing of the fan apparatus or air cooling machines, which ensures the quality of installation and minimal start-up product period on the customers place.

Plant also takes orders for manufacture and repair of separate old sections of the air cooling machines, as well as the manufacture of finned tubes.

3. Refrigerators

Significant part of plant productions are capacitors, evaporators, receivers, liquid separators, oil separators, intermediate vessels and other equipment for ammonia refrigerators.

We produce high quality equipment and it has a stable demand in the market.

Cold storage apparatus, and panel tape evaporators produced by the plant has no analogues in CIS countries.

The design of panel tape evaporator, significantly improve the effectiveness of the evaporation through the use of unfolding tapes of the liquid. Also it protected by a patent of Ukraine

4. Ball valves

Plant has a large experience in ball valves manufacturing, using as a shut-off devices on pipelines transporting pressurized gaseous or liquid products.

Cranes are made:

for gas pipelines, above and underground performances,

diameter from 50 to 300 mm

pressure from 8,0 and 16,0 MPa

northern and normal climatic performance.

for water, steam, gas, petroleum

diameter from 50, 80, 100 mm

pressure - 1, 6 MPa.

for ammonia

diameter 15, 50, 100 mm

pressure - 5,0, 10,0, 14,0 MPa.

5. Cryogenic equipment

The plant has a modern unique workshop for production of cryogenic vessels (Dewar vessel).

The range of cryogenic equipment includes:

Dewar vessels with a volume from 3 to 30 liters for

storage and transportation of biological products in liquid nitrogen at a temperature

round to minus 196 C;

Cryogenic vessels with a volume from 6 to 40 liters for the storage and transportation of liquid nitrogen, oxygen, argon;

storage of biological products with a volume of 240 liters, intended for

long-term storage of biological products in liquid nitrogen;

cryogenic vessels capacity of 40 liters, intended for the technological operations for freezing of biological products in liquid nitrogen;

cryogenic vessels used in medicine;

as nitrogen capacitors for refrigerators.

6. Driers

Plant manufactured dryers of the following modifications:

Spraying (jet and disc-centrifugal), designed for

receiving the powder from solutions, suspensions, emulsions by drying of sprayed product.

Material - corrosion steel. Performance on evaporated moisture -10 and 42 kg / hour. Operates in automatic mode.

Shelf dryers, vacuum - designed for drying under vacuum granular and paste materials under the temperature up to 150 ° C. Produced in

stainless steel and carbon performance.

Equipment used in the pharmaceutical, food and other industries.

7. Vessel equipment

Vessel equipment is designed for work in the technological processes of petrochemical, gas processing, food and other industries, as well as for storage of various products.

It is produced both for work under the pressure (up to 80 atm.), and for filling under the normal conditions, capacity from 0,1 to 50 m3 and above.

Vessel equipment is available in horizontal and vertical versions, with external or internal heating, with the outer insulation.

Material type - carbon, low alloy or corrosion-proof steels. Tanks can be manufactured according to specific customer requirements.

8. Columns

The plant produces columnar equipment designed for mass-transfer processes in the petroleum and chemical industries.

Column equipment are made of various types:

cap, net-shaped, packed, in carbon and stainless material performance.

9. Attached farming equipment.

In cooperation with Germany company "Riske" plant developed technical documentation and mastered the production of various types of attachments and towing equipment for agricultural production.

The range of this equipment includes:

Rollers of different sizes and modifications intended to seal acreage, as well as for rolling meadows;

Traping shovels for loading and movement of humus and other materials;

rippers of different types (2, 3 and 5 carob) for cultivation of soil;

buckets, shovels of various sizes, designed for loading and unloading operations, as well as for moving and removing of soil, snow, loose and bulk cargo on the natural areas and areas with hard covering;

attached pitchfork for loading, moving and storage of manure, silage and packaged cargos;

scrapers for the ground, quick-detachable frames, automatic couplers for tractors, harrows, multifunctional shovels and other attachments.

10. Containers

The plant manufactures metal containers with capacity from 8 to 41 m3. Which are in demand in the markets of Ukraine and abroad (Norway, Sweden and other countries).

Containers are designed for:

storage and transportation of various materials on compliance with governmental environmental requirements;

apparatus of control instrumentation.

11. Consumer's goods

1.11 Household thermoses

Thermoses produced by the plant designed to save temperature of the any consistency products placed in their.

Thermoses capacity 0,35, 0,5, 0,75, 1,0, 2,0, 3,0 liters.

Interior and exterior thermos flask are made of high quality stainless steel.

11.2 Heating Boilers

Boilers range with  power from 7 to 20 kW. With the bleeding of combustion gases through the parapet type chimney, used for buildings and individual houses heat supply.

Efficiency of boilers not less than 92%.

Safety automatic “EVРU51Т” (Italy).

11.3  Kegs

Kegs are made of stainless steel DIN 1.4301 (AISI 304) are designed for storing, transporting and bottling of beer, liquors and other liquids.

Equipped by any type of fittings of European firms "DSI" and “MICRO MATIS”.

On the upper shell can be printed complex customer logo.
